Birth of this blog...

The sole purpose of creating this blog is to enjoy literature, the best form of expression. Interest in literature is jubilant. A person in love with literature never feels solitude and agony. He/She is always filled with passion, contentment and joy. Indeed, English literature is one of the best collective works of the world. From William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" to today's J. K Rowling's illusive fiction "Harry Potter", day by day literature is growing. Literature and poetry form the basis of the English society. Here, my reference to the English society is not for the British, but for the enjoying class of English. Vernacular languages do have literature and poetry, but English poetry, solely in my opinion is God's gift to mankind. The English language itself is mystic and euphoric. It cannot be described in mere words, the joy one gets in just glancing through the works of William Shakespeare like "The Tragedy of Macbeth", though it is heart-shattering and tragic. Poetry is a boon for we English lovers. The poetic devices are used in such a way in English poetry that though they are simple for the surface meaning, but they have a great depth in the metaphorical way. Again, the ingenious William Shakespeare's sonnets, are more than worthy to be mentioned. The intricacy of the weaving of the words with one's feelings in English poetry is just exulting. Philosophy comes in handy in understanding poetry.
A commentary can be given on just a part of English prose and poetry. It's extremely vast and enchanting. My purpose of creating this blog is to post my written articles and if it can be called so, my poems and pieces of writing. I am a fan of English literature and poetry and want to contribute to it, though my contribution is just a drop in the ocean.
